The Brooklyn Nets are looking to take a commanding 3-0 lead season series lead over the Detroit Pistons. The last one was close played the day after Christmas with Brooklyn winning 118-112. Brooklyn has been playing better of late as well as it goes for its fourth win in five games. Meanwhile, Detroit has lost four of its last five and is trying to avoid losing four in a row. Despite all of this, Brooklyn is only a slight 2.5-point favorite. The Nets are coming off a big win at home beating the Philadelphia 76ers by a 112-107 final. Both Dorian Finney-Smith and Dennis Schroder led the team with 20 points. It helped that both Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, who was out with a concussion, were not in the Philadelphia lineup on Tuesday. Brooklyn was able to overcome a season-high 30 points from Kelly Oubre Jr.. who led the Sixers. It feels like the Nets should be favored a bit more tonight.

Detroit kept it close though in its last game losing to the Miami Heat 118-110 on Tuesday. Double-digits in the win column still prove to be elusive for the Pistons. Jimmy Butler took the game in his hands late in the fourth quarter and led the Heat with 26. Cade Cunningham led Detroit with 23 with Miami taking the 2-0 season series lead. Can Detroit break the mold and finally get to its 10th win at home tonight?
